Aryssa Torres, Missing 38-year-old Texas - US Authorities Seek Last Seen August 7
Authorities and family members are seeking information about 38-year-old Aryssa Leann Torres, who has been reported missing in the Seguin and Guadalupe County area of Texas. Torres was last known to be in the San Antonio area before she was reportedly seen by Guadalupe County Sheriff’s deputies near Curry Road and O’Daniel Road in southern Guadalupe County. Deputies initially responded to a welfare check after receiving reports of a woman walking in the area for several hours.

When officers spoke with Torres, she reportedly said she was training for a marathon, was nearly finished, and planned to return to a nearby Airbnb. Authorities had reportedly encountered her earlier that day under similar circumstances. After providing her with a Gatorade and finding no immediate indication that she required assistance, deputies allowed her to continue. The search intensified after Torres’ vehicle was discovered abandoned behind Amazing Grace Baptist Church, located at 14593 Texas 123 in Seguin. Her cellphone and other personal belongings were reportedly found with the vehicle.
Authorities said there were no obvious signs of foul play or a struggle at the location. However, handwritten notes found inside the vehicle reportedly raised concerns that Torres could have been experiencing a mental health crisis. Possible sightings have been reported around O’Daniel Road and Rawhide Road, although none has been confirmed.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have seen Torres or has information about her whereabouts to contact authorities. Residents in Seguin, Guadalupe County, and the wider San Antonio area are encouraged to remain alert and share verified information that could assist in locating her.
